Heres a breakdown of the upcoming of this game:
"Guitar Hero 1" comes out and brings a crowd
"Guitar Hero 2" releases and keeps them roaring
"Guitar Hero 3" isn't much of a leap ahead besides the fact that it becomes XBox 360
"Rockband" makes a great blast with the idea that you can play not only the Guitar (and Bass), but you can actually play as a Drummer and a Singer, as well.
Activision takes "Rockband" and puts it into a "Guitar Hero" enviroment/setting. Thus "Guitar Hero: World Tour" is born.
Harmonix gets a little offended and spotlights "Rockband 2" which is a big hit.

Now for my opinion on the game:
The game has some good songs from some good bands, but it needs more songs. "Rockband" and "Rockband 2" have near 100 songs by some of the best bands. "Guitar Hero: World Tour" has near 30-40 songs from some bands that nobody knows. So I give it a four star, but if it didn't have B.Y.O.B, What I've Done, and The Kill then it would definitely be a three star.

*I am making a video review of this game currently so I will post a link when it's up.*
